The Real Estate Rolodex Review – Is it a Scam?

Real Estate RolodexThe Investor Rolodex by Brad Wozny, found at www.theinvestorrolodex.com, is a membership service that promises to help budding real estate investors acquire private funding for their next deals. There are also lots of additional resources and training materials included with the membership.

The website for Real Estate Rolodex claims that you will get the following with your order:

• Access to 3,800 + Member private Social Network of real estate investors
• All Real Estate Rolodex courses, audios, videos and more.
• Access to the site message board and2 custom training courses each month from an Investment coach!
• Access to the Real Estate Rolodex which includes 2 DVDs and The Master Blue Print

The important thing to take note of is that when you sign up for this service you are agreeing to a 3 day trial period for $6.95. If you decide to keep the service past those 3 days you will be charged a monthly fee of $59.99.

If you signed up for Real Estate Rolodex and need to cancel the number listed on their website is 1-800-519-5403. If you do not call they’ll keep charging you every month, and many of the complaints against this company are from people who didn’t read the terms and conditions before they signed up and were unaware of the monthly fee.

There were also reviews from some customers who claimed to have a difficult time canceling so if you are not satisfied with their content and training cancel early on in your trial period to avoid any future problems.

If you can’t reach anyone then call your bank or credit card company and alert them that you did not authorize the impending charges.

Is the Real Estate Rolodex a Scam?

The continual billing strategy that they use does raise some red flags but it is not illegal and they do state the terms of their trial period on the order screen. So it’s up to the customer to be diligent and read the details before submitting their payment info.

The course and service itself is hard to judge since you would have to actually have a real estate investment opportunity ready to go to present to potential investors. The difficulty here is putting together a deal that someone would actually want to invest in and that may not be as easy as Brad Wozny makes it seem.

If you do sign up for the trial period use that time to assess whether the social network of investors is for real and if there are enough active participants to make this a worthwhile investment. Otherwise you’ll be stuck with monthly payments for just the investment training.

Unable to cancel. I signed up for one time trial period for $4.95 and they debit $59.99 per month from my bank account. This is a scam.
